The weather in our part of Spain

 

For the most part we have very little rain, lots of sun and apart from mid summer cooler than the south of Spain, especially in the evenings and at night in spring and autumn. Winter at night occasionally there can be a frost and even a sprinkling of snow on the mountain tops. Our winter is basically January and February, perhaps a week or two either side. Winter temperatures can be 20c by day and below 10c at night, it can also be very windy.

 

Mid March April May to June…...good temperatures, good weather, cooler evenings and not to hot by day

 

July, August, and early September…….midsummer can be very hot by day and night, generally get up and out early, siesta afternoons and out again evenings.

 

October November to mid December…... similar to spring i.e. average temperature in November 20-22c by day and 15c by night

 

Mid December to mid March…… although temperatures can be similar to autumn,   for the odd week or two it can get cold and windy.
