Your hosts, Julie and Andy, originally from Devon in the U.K.

Julie looks after the accommodation and meals, Andy loves the outdoor lifestyle and fishing the river Ebro. Andy also does guided Catfish fishing trips on the river

Finca Jazmin our farmhouse style home overlooks the Ebro valley and Tortosa, in the small hamlet of Pimpi. Access is via a good tarmac road about a mile from the main road and the same again to Tortosa or Bitem. Our land is mainly trees olive, carob and almond with a few fruit trees. If you like peace and quiet

and outstanding views, this is the place for you.

Tortosa boasts wonderful architecture, a beautiful cathedral and a huge fortress overlooking the town and surrounding countryside. There are a large variety of shops,

indoor market plus outdoor markets twice a week.

The walks along the river Ebro are wonderful.

We are only 25 minutes from the sea and the Delta de Ebre National Park, a well known area for bird-watching, its rice plantations and boating, the long sandy beaches are gorgeous..

that never get busy.

North of Tortosa along the River Ebro visit the many historic picturesque villages. Walkers will love the Els Port mountain range, (Eagles Vultures and wild Boar) also a National Park rising from the western shore of the River Ebro . (Rio Ebre)

The Serra de Cardo mountain range on the Eastern side of the river also contains the very popular caving area. The Sierra del Boix mountains another wonderful area for walkers or bird watchers lies near Pimpi, above where we live.

There is a very good tourist information shop in Tortosa, you can get very good maps and information from there.

Finca Jazmin is out of the villages and town we would strongly recommend that you hire a car for your excursions. This is best arranged to be collected at your chosen airport. However, transfers can be arranged from Reus airport. About thirty pounds each way.

Of course some days of your holiday you may wish to stay on the Finca, (property) just sitting on the patio, by the pool, swimming when it gets too hot, or sitting under a tree reading, or just relaxing.

As for the views from Finca Jazmin, as Gerard, the German estate agent who sold us our home, said “you will be looking and looking and you wont want to leave”
